History of FLL
Since 1998 FLL has been established all over the world for children and youngsters. FIRST LEGO League (FLL) has been developed as a cooperational project of LEGO Company and the foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) in 1998 in the USA.

Dean Kamen the founder of FIRST and initiator of the first LEGO League in the USA outlines the establishment of FIRST and LEGO League as follows: "We have to show our children that it can be more interesting to create a robot than just to play with it."

Please find further information and all challenge documents starting from FLL 2001 in the FLL Archive.
