FLL Tournament Table
At tournaments the FLL Robot Game is held on a so called FLL tournament table. To prepare for a tournament the FLL Team may set up the FLL Challenge Set

:: on the floor
:: on a self-built FLL Tournament Table

This FLL Tournament Table should correspond the measurements of the field mat (approx. 235 cm x 115 cm) and the playing field should have a black border. Starting with FLL 2009 a fixed light on the table is optional.

Please find a building instruction of the FLL Tournament Table available as download here.

Time
The FLL Missions are announced each year in September. After kick-off teams get approx. 8 weeks to build, construct and program the robot and to prepare their solutions for the FLL Research Project. Additionally there is one day needed (in November) to take part in a FLL Regional Tournament, where the teams and their robots step into competition with other participants and present their knowledge about the FLL Research Project to a jury.
