Due to the growing number of participants we have introduced an additional qualification step - the FLL Semi Finals. In 2011 teams from Eastern Europe (BG, CZ, H, PL, SK), Switzerland (CH), Austria (A) and Germany (D) will qualify for the FLL Final Central Europe in FLL Semi Finals.

Each FLL Regional Tournament sends a number of teams depending on the number of registred teams in the region to one of the 5 FLL Semi Finals (Central Europe Germany North East and West, CE Southwest, CE East and Switzerland). At each of these events a certain number of teams qualify for the FLL Final Central Europe.

Regional allocation

Each FLL Regional Tournament (A, BG, CH, CZ, D, H, PL, SK) corresponds to a FLL Semi Final. The number of teams qualifying for a FLL Semi Final depends on the size of the regional tournaments (teams registered on Sept 30th:

Germany/Austria
:: from 10 teams per region = 1 team is going to the FLL Semi Final
:: from 20 teams per region = 2 teams are going to the FLL Semi Final

Switzerland
:: from 10 teams per region = 3 - 4 teams going to the FLL Semi Final

Eastern Europe (BG/CZ/H/PL/SK)
:: from 10 teams per region = 1 team going further to the FLL Semi Final
:: from 12 teams per region = 2 teams going further to the FLL Semi Final

The FLL Champion and the proximate ranked teams of the distinct regions will qualify. They will be published on the website of each FLL Semi Final.

Qualification mode FLL Central Europe
For the FLL Final Central Europe there is a special qualification mode in 2011 (teams per region/country) which is determined by the total number of teams subscribed for the season. Registration closes at Sept 23rd, 2011 and the number of teams going to the FLL Final Central Europe will be set on Sept 30th, 2011.
